Evy Cobean

Evy is originally from Ontario, Canada. She is homeschooled and attends classes at Bridge Academy (a homeschool co-op). Evy has been competing since she was 7 years old. She competed in summer league with the Rivers Bend Sharks from 2015-2019, and currently for the Summer Lake Tsunamis since 2020. Evy also competes year round for Quest. She is particularly drawn to the adrenaline rush that comes with a close race and the feeling of accomplishment after a hard practice. From 2021-2022 Evy spent some time as a volunteer coach for her neighborhood summer league team and this past summer of 2023 she became the assistant coach. Her favorite stroke is breaststroke but her favorite thing to teach is diving. Outside of swimming, Evy enjoys babysitting and hanging out with family and friends.
